Every year the Rector awards a prize to excellent researchers for excellence is research, teaching and active participation in academic life at the University.

A call for candidates was sent to the Deans who submitted their recommendations to the Rector and the awardees were chosen from the list of nominees.

Following are the names of this year's awardees for the 2020 academic year and the reasons why they were selected:
