The End of the Junior Academic staff strike
Dear Students,
Following the announcement regarding the end of the junior academic staff strike and according to the update received from the staff union about the submission of grades by August 6, 2025, we would like to clarify that students who receive their final grade less than three business days before the date of the second exam (Moed Bet), after exam booklets have been made available and the appeal period has begun, will be subject to the framework published at the start of the strike:
- Students who took the first exam (Moed Aleph) and do not receive their grades at least three business days before the second exam (Moed Bet) may take the second exam and will receive the higher of the two grades — either from Moed Aleph or Moed Bet. The final grade and its submission will be handled by the lecturers/teaching assistants.
- Students whose Moed Aleph grades were not published, did not take the Moed Bet exam, and later discover (after Moed Aleph grades are published) that they need or want to take another exam, may submit a request to the Teaching Committee and will receive approval to take a special exam. In this case, the grade from the special exam will be the one that counts.
We are pleased that the strike has come to an end and wish all students continued success in their studies and upcoming exams.
