Dear colleagues,
I am happy to update you on the state of our University. The numerical data presented here, on the degree of student satisfaction with teaching and our ranking in various indices, are indicators, not conclusive evidence, of our degree of success in achieving our goals.

I’m happy to share some updates on what is happening at the University. We recently hosted two public events–a Government meeting and a speech delivered by the President of Ukraine—which again underscored our University’s special public status.

Below are a few updates on the University's activities in recent weeks, including details regarding new academic faculty members and retiring faculty members.
Dear Teachers,
During the month of Ramadan, which is observed from April 2nd to May 1st, studies at the University will continue as usual. During this month, observant Muslims fast daily, from early morning hours until approximately 7:15 pm. There are also family gatherings in the evening ("Iftar"). Teachers are requested to take into account the special needs of their fasting students, especially in the late afternoon classes.

These are tense-filled days. The Hebrew University community mourns the deaths of those murdered in the recent terror attacks.
